Whether you are recovering from orthopedic surgery, a work injury, stroke or other medical condition, Riverview Rehab & Fitness offers therapy tailored to meet your needs. Our experienced physical, occupational and speech therapists work to relieve your pain, build your strength and increase your mobility and independent functioning.
A physician referral is required for all forms of therapy. Pre-authorization of insurance is completed as a patient service.
Two locations to serve the community
Riverview Hospital offers two Rehab & Fitness locations to best serve the community and patients.
The Riverview Rehab & Fitness Centers in Carmel and Noblesville are a combined outpatient rehabilitation service facility and fitness center. Both facilities include the latest rehabilitation and fitness equipment as well as an indoor heated pool used for therapy and exercise programs.
Physical Therapy (Noblesville and Carmel locations)
Licensed physical therapists provide a full range of physical therapy using traditional and other evidenced-based treatments. Manual therapy, complimented by the latest equipment and techniques, helps return you to good health as quickly as possible.
Stroke Recovery – Therapists work to help build strength and balance to prevent falls. Therapists strive to help patients function as independently as possible.
Back and Neck Pain – Therapists use a variety of methods to reduce muscle spasms, pain and inflammation in the back or neck.
Musculoskeletal Injury – Therapists work with you to restore active movement and normalize your flexibility, strength and endurance.
Sports Injuries – Athletes, as well as “weekend warriors” of all ages and abilities receive state-of-the-art care.
Orthopaedic Surgeries – An intensive rehabilitation program enhances your recovery following joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic procedures and other surgeries such as rotator cuff surgery and fracture repairs.

Oncology Rehab & Fitness (Noblesville and Carmel locations)
A comprehensive program designed to improve the functioning of patients suffering from the debilitating side effects of surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation. Treatment is specifically designed for those experiencing:
- Acute and chronic pain
- Lymphedema
- Fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, impaired mobility, loss of flexibility
- Balance and coordination problems, falls
- Anxiety, depression, loss of confidence
- Cognitive and safety concerns
Occupational Therapy (Noblesville and Carmel locations)
Following work injuries, surgery, stroke or other neurological problems, occupational therapy can help you regain your skills for successful daily living. The goal is to promote the highest level of independence possible. Our licensed occupational therapists also can assist with rehabilitation following hand surgeries and customized upper extremity splinting.
Speech Therapy (Noblesville location)
Licensed speech therapists provide services for children with developmental delays or congenital disorders such as autism or cerebral palsy. A full range of therapies for adults, including stroke patients, individuals with swallowing disorders and post-surgical needs is also offered.
Pediatric Rehabilitation (Noblesville location)
Pediatric therapists assist children and families with a variety of special needs from birth through teen years.
Aquatic Therapy (Noblesville and Carmel locations)
Both occupational and physical aquatic therapy are offered in our warm water pools. Aquatic therapy is offered to all age groups ranging from infants to adults to seniors. Both the Noblesville and Carmel locations offer a transfer chair lift for entering and exiting the pool, if necessary. The Noblesville location also offers a wheelchair ramp.
Post-Therapy FitnessTherapy clients are encouraged to take advantage of Riverview Rehab & Fitness' fitness centers after therapy is complete.
