Our purpose…The “Heartfelt Thanks” tournament is one of Hamilton County’s premier golf outings, providing you with a great opportunity to take a break from the office and connect with community members and business associates. Best of all, your support will have a BIG impact on Riverview patients.
Funds donated to the Riverview Hospital Foundation will be directed towards building a new Cath Lab and the purchase of a multi-slice CT scanner. So what will a new Cath Lab do? It allows physicians to insert a catheter (a thin flexible tube) into the right or left side of the heart. In general, this procedure is performed to obtain diagnostic information about the heart or its blood vessels so the physicians can begin the appropriate treatment. A CT Scanner, diagnoses disease in its earliest stages, it takes pictures of the brain and detects cancer, back problems and other abnormalities. This technology is critical to the improvement of Riverview’s 5-star rated Heart and Vascular center.
To participate…Golf Option -- $150 per person or $600 per team
This includes:
- Cart and green fees
- Lunch and Dinner
- On-course refreshments
- Plus, if bad weather forces a cancellation, there is a rain date pending but not refunds will be granted.
Canoe Option -- $150 per person
This includes:
- Guided tour down White River
- Canoe or kayak
- Lunch and Dinner
- Trip refreshments
- Trip is limited to 70 participants and all participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
